I'm experimenting with new pumpkin recipes because I'm hosting a Taster's Night in October and pumpkin is the focus ingredient. This was very simple to make and quite tasty. It also looks more appealing in person than in photograph.1 29 oz. Libby Pumpkin Puree (follow the pie directions on the back and mix the filling in one bowl).
In another bowl - mix a dry yellow cake mix with 1 cube of softened butter.
Pam spray 1 9x13 pan - pour in pumpkin puree and top with cake mix (optional - can chop some nuts and sprinkle on top).
Heat oven to 350 and bake for 1 hour.
